In an article from iFMagazine.com, Matt Groening (Co-creator of Futurama) sat down and talked about the new DVD, the future of Futurama and the possibility of another Simpsons movie.
In the interview Groening states: "The last one is about the end of the universe. For the last scene we made an ending that will be very satisfying." He was then asked if this will be the end of Futurama and he replied: "We don't know. We did that, so if that's the last thing people see, they will be satisfied."
I hope it's not an ending like the Sopranos or have Fry wake up and it all be a dream or something like that. I'm not too sure the possibility that Futurama would just be done like that. Bender's Game is #65 on Amazon.com as I write this while the other movies have dropped dramatically to the 1,000's. So I guess depending how Comedy Central and Fox can handle marketing the show to new viewers (or old viewers that may have forgotten), we can only sit and wait to see how our beloved show will continue for the ages.
I found some good deals on some Futurama Comics on EBay. The first two are a collection of Futurama Comics going for (at the time of publishing) cheap with a fair deal on shipping. The bottom three are individual comics that started at $0.99 and had $2.00 shipping. Check them out and make a bid.
Also it may not be a bad idea to get one of the lots because you can keep what your missing and then sell the rest individually and make a profit from it. Hmm... maybe I shouldn't be sharing that and taking all the riches for myself.
